Y-DEP Structured Dyslexia Education Program is a structured education program used to evaluate and improve the cognitive and academic skills of children diagnosed with specific learning disabilities (dyslexia) between the ages of 6 years 0 months and 14 years 11 months. Y-DEP aims to recognize the child's strengths and weaknesses, support them in the areas they need, and plan the education process accordingly. Thanks to the program, it can be determined at which steps the child has difficulty in the reading and writing process; In the light of this information obtained, individualized education plans suitable for the child can be created. It is aimed to support skills such as reading accuracy, reading fluency, reading comprehension, spelling and written expression through a regular and systematic training process.
The Structured Dyslexia Educational Evaluation Inventory is used in the evaluation part of the Y-DEP program. Y-DEP is applied to individuals in the 6-14 age group and the child's development is evaluated through the Cognitive Performance Scale and Academic Performance Scale (dyslexia test). Cognitive Performance Scale; It consists of 8 subscales: Lateralization, Visual Perception, Auditory Perception, Orientation Skill, Visual Short-Term Memory, Auditory Short-Term Memory, Phonological Awareness and Working Speed. Academic Performance Scale: It consists of 8 subscales: Clock Drawing, Time Perception, Reading Aloud, Written Expression, Turkish Academic Outcome-1, Turkish Academic Outcome-2, Mathematics Academic Outcome-1 and Mathematics Academic Outcome-2. In line with the results obtained from these subscales, educational goals can be concretized by determining the areas in which the child needs to be supported.
Y-DEP is structured with a Modular Education approach in order to make the education process more planned and trackable. The education of individuals with dyslexia in the 6-14 age group is planned through 4 modules; Depending on the needs of the child, the process can be organized as a one- or two-year program.

The most important factor that distinguishes Y-DEP from other literacy support studies is; It presents evaluation (Y-DEP), planning (modular structure) and implementation (application books) together and systematically. In this way, more comprehensive support can be provided by addressing not only the child's reading performance but also the cognitive processes underlying reading and writing.
