It is an intervention program based on parent-child interaction, designed for preschool children with developmental delays or at risk. The main purpose of the program is to increase the quality of the relationship that mothers and fathers establish with their children in order to support the child's cognitive, social-emotional and language development.

ETEÇOM2 is a program based on Relationship-Based Approach. Relationship-based practices such as Floortime, DIR, Denver Model and ETEÇOM2 (Responsive Teaching; http://www.responsiveteaching.org/) aim to improve the quality of the primary caregiver's (parent or specialist/educator) interaction with the child and therefore support the child's development (cognitive, social-emotional and communication).
The effectiveness of ETEÇOM is effective on children aged 0-6/8 who have different disabilities or whose development is at risk and their parents, and the USA; It has been tested and continues to be tested in Korea and Turkey. Based on these studies, ETEÇOM studies conducted to date have revealed that it is effective on children and their parents with different conditions such as Down Syndrome, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Cerebral Palsy, Mental Disability, Delayed Language and Speech, Developmental Delay of unknown cause, Prematurity/Low Birth Weight.
The goal of ETEÇOM2 is to enable the child to acquire or develop 15 basic behaviors in the fields of cognitive, communication and social emotional development by improving the interactive behaviors of the expert/educator or parent. In ETEÇOM2, 63 ETEÇOM2 STRATEGIES parents/experts/educators are taught or developed to acquire or develop 15 basic behaviors. 63 ETEÇOM2 INFORMATION NOTES related to ETEÇOM2 STRATEGIES explain the logic of basic behaviors and strategies. While ETEÇOM2 application sessions may differ depending on the working and cohabitation status of the parent or specialist, ideally they are held 1-2 times a week, in 1-1.30 hour sessions. 1-2 strategies are practiced in each session. The strategies in the program are completed in approximately 6 months, and when applied as stated in the program, meaningful improvements can be observed in the adult on whom the strategies are focused and in the child's developmental areas (especially cognitive, communication and social-emotional).
